About Kei KB

Kei KB is an independent documentation project for Japanese kei trucks and vans. It is built to help owners find practical information that is often difficult to locate in one place: service procedures, model-code explanations, part numbers, factory manual references, import notes, photos, diagrams, and verified owner experience.

The site is organized around the way owners usually search for information. Manufacturer shelves contain model books. Model books use chassis codes, model families, and year ranges whenever possible. Pages hold the actual documentation, and each page should be specific enough to be useful without becoming a catch-all note dump.

Kei KB is not affiliated with Mitsubishi, Daihatsu, Honda, Subaru, Suzuki, or any other manufacturer. Brand names, model names, and part references are used for identification and documentation purposes only.

Editorial Approach

The goal is accuracy over volume. Community notes are welcome, but confirmed procedures, clear photos, model-specific details, and cited sources are preferred. When information is uncertain, it should be marked as uncertain. When a part number or procedure applies only to a specific chassis, engine, drivetrain, or year range, that limitation should be stated clearly.
