Idle Mixture Screw

Dead center above the throttle opening.

• Brass screw
• Has a spring under it
• Screws straight down into carb

What It Does

Controls fuel/air mix at idle.

Adjustment

• Clockwise: leaner
• Counterclockwise: richer

This is the most important tuning screw.
